Do you remember the sail force? By definition, powerful Zelda: an ocean adventure game to be released on Switch with a windy tact atmosphere? Well, there’s good news and bad news.

Fortunately, a new trailer has been released (above), showing off some new gameplay and a selection of quirky NPCs and creatures you’ll encounter in the game. “The open ocean is calling,” the press release reads. “Are you ready for a world-changing adventure by unraveling a long-buried mystery?”

The bad news is that Sail Forth has been pushed back again, moving from the 2021 release schedule to some time in 2022. Delays are always disappointing, but the final product is the best.

Here’s a list of features that goes into a little more detail:

-Over 30 hours of gameplay in 7 unique worlds
-Interesting and multifaceted stories from different factions, side quests and bosses
-Realistic sailing mechanic and auto sailing options to suit different play styles
-Procedurally generated marine world with dynamic day and night and meteorological system
-Fishing, racing, photography and other side quests and mini games
-Ambient and responsive soundtrack for complete immersiveness

The publisher Quantum Astrophysicists Guild explains why the game was pushed back.

“Over the past year, Sail Forth has grown from a sailing simulation game to a full-fledged marine adventure with lots of new content, quests, characters and stories. The game has expanded beyond its original plans. We had to push the release next year to make sure Sail Forth was an epic adventure for the player. “
