All board the E3 Hype Train! Cuckoo!
Yes, after a one-year break, E3 will return this weekend. We have already seen the opening show of Summer Game Fest, and with the coming of Nintendo’s Direct next Tuesday, we have already prayed for the million tons.
In other news, some Switch users reported issues with the latest system updates and specific error codes. We focused on 12 Switch eShop games recommended by the community. Game Boy Advance celebrated its 20th (North American) birthday.
It’s time to relax and discuss our weekend game plan. JimmyEmbers from the Nintendo Life team did this work below, so please feel free to read our entry and then add your own entry through our comments section. enjoy!
There will be a lot less game time for various streaming media and so on this weekend, but I might return Resident Evil: Village A short spell at night; I have stayed away from it for the past two weeks, so I want to make sure I finish it.
On Switch, I have been revisiting an eShop gem, and I never really finished it when it appeared-a golf story. When I saw some teasing about Sports Story, I was inspired to play it, and I decided to go back and start the first game again. This is a weird, fun, and very relaxing game, perfect for moments of snatching during downtime.
Ask any of my fellow journalists, when is the worst time of the year, there will be an ominous answer: E3. Here we come again: trailers, announcements, new games, live demos, endless public relations mailboxes… The mass of information makes us sleepless, and sometimes even forgets the real luck of all of us, because we first chose to be gamers .
Regardless of future game announcements, a new version of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past will be launched this weekend. This week’s game is Mighty Goose. I am using my sweet time to complete this Metal Slug respect, because it is really a good time.
There are so many video game events stream to watch this weekend that there is no time to actually play video games. In fact, my only game-related activity Is not Watching YouTube or writing about it may be a) to enjoy the highlights of my personal podcast this year, excellent before E3 8-4 Play podcast, And b) Touch my latest retro acquisition-Pearl White GameCube.
At the time of writing, it is still in the package. I hope I won’t open it and find a yellowed console case; the photo on eBay looks good, so my fingers are crossed. This brings my total number of GameCubes to a slightly ridiculous five now, and I am totally planning to take some popular photos and post my best star captain/power ranger reference on social media.
Look, this is a difficult year. Just make me dizzy and have a nice weekend, okay? !
Hello there! Hope everyone is doing well. It’s E3 time, baby! When I was sitting in front of the TV without a big bucket of KFC and checking my predictions, I planned to jump back to Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. It’s been a while since I last played it, and I think it really is one of the most powerful platform games ever!
On other systems, I am still trying to complete the Halo activity (half completed so far) Halo 3), and I just received the PS5 digital version, so I will keep playing Astro’s game room When I have a chance.
As always, thank you for reading! In the next few days, please be sure to leave us a message below and tell us your game choices…
