This adapter allows you to play Game Boy cartridges on your PC and can even detect fakes

Now, this is a convenient sound device suitable for any Game Boy fan.

GB Operator is a cute little adapter from Epilogue, which allows owners to play and manage their collected Game Boy cassettes on the PC. It supports the original Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance carts, and applications for playing games can run on Windows, Mac and Linux.

We haven’t had a chance to try it ourselves, so we can’t directly say its quality, but the device uses mGBA as its core emulator, allowing controllers and cheat support (yes, you can even trigger any game you might have missed years ago Special events), a save file that is always updated so that you can continue where you left off on the official console, and a system that allows you to write your own games into a blank Game Boy cartridge.

Let’s take a look at the simulator application of GB Operator. (image: Concluding remarks)
