The melancholic point-and-click game “Unreal Life” is finally coming to Europe

It was confirmed that Unreal Life, a point-and-click adventure game by Japanese developer hakolife, has made a leap to the European e-shop on December 3rd.

Launched today in Japan and the United States a year ago, the game is finally heading to Europe thanks to SelectaPlay. The company helped prepare for the release of localizations in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese, making it available to many new players for the first time.

The player plays the role of Hull, a girl who loses most of her memory and can only be remembered by her teacher, Sakura. As she departs to find Miss Sakura, Hull can touch the objects to see their memories, helping her slowly recover her memories as she finds hits and solves puzzles.

One of the few reviews of games posted online, Siriconera, Unreal Life is called “the beauty of another world”. “Unreal Life is a special kind of adventure game. It’s a more moving story than you can imagine, and it’s memorably beautiful,” they said.
