Earlier today, one of the six games revealed in the live broadcast of Square Enix’s “Dragon Quest” 35th Anniversary is Dragon Quest III HD-2D remake.
According to game producer Masaaki Hayasaka-he has worked in games such as Octopath Traveler, the “HD-2D style” combines pixel art with 3D effects to create a sense of depth and atmosphere that is unique.
The goal of the development team is to release it on home consoles globally, so the release of Switch sounds promising. The release date of the game has not yet been determined, so stay tuned.
