Spider-Man fans recreate classic movie posters using only images from insomnia games

The graphic designer has recreated multiple Spider-Man movie posters on PlayStation 5 using only the assets of the Insomniac Spider-Man game.

Twitter user @ursRockrider So far, Andrew Garfield’s “The Amazing Spider-Man” and Tobey Maguire’s “Spider-Man 2” posters have been reproduced with perfect precision. By using PS5 for the hashtag, it is safe to assume that the PlayStation 5 version of Spider-Man (2018) and Spider-Man: Miles Morales were used more than the PlayStation 4 version.

A reproduction of The Amazing Spider-Man’s poster was released by Rock Rider on Tuesday. Within hours of publication, the official Insomniac Games Twitter account responded by calling fan art “Simply Amazing.”

Rock Rider responded to Twitter users with an image of the game Spider-Man used in the poster Similar to the one used for the background.

A few days later, Rock Rider followed up with a Spider-Man 2 poster. Insomniac also replied to this poster and tweeted to 1 million followers.

Insomniac has released a remaster of the Spider-Man: Miles Morales and PlayStation 5 blockbuster Spider-Man games from 2018 on the PlayStation 5 launch date in 2020. Since then, Insomniac has announced the Spider-Man 2 for PlayStation 5 in 2023.

If that’s not enough, Insomniac also announced a Wolverine game with a “standalone story” that is “very early” in development.

In the more serious Spider-Man news, Disney is in a legal battle with the property of Spider-Man co-creator Steve Ditko. Dicco’s real estate wants to claim ownership of Spider-Man and other Marvel heroes, but Disney states that the work was created on a “work for hire” basis and is wholly owned by Marvel.

Until then, Spider-Man fans can prepare for the new movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home. It is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on December 17th. We hope that the MCU Special will be available at Disney + on November 12th, giving you a new look at the long-awaited movie.
