A familiar perspective that blends cool puzzle golf with the intimidating human potential future is Golf Club Wasteland, a new project announced by Untold Tales and Demagog Studio.
In the golf club wasteland, 99% of human life has been wiped out by consumerism, and the earth is now just a huge golf course for the super rich (who apparently fled to Mars). You will complete this post-apocalyptic course in the final round, piecing together the depravity of human nature between each successful putt.
Each hole has its own story, and sometimes puzzles are provided to complete the perfect shot. You will play in “destroyed Fauvism monuments, crumbling shopping malls, and abandoned museums” and listen to the voices of “secret bystanders” who will observe your every move and learn about events that happen through environmental storytelling.
We will have to wait until we can be completely sure of it, but we have been sold by the trailer above-the golf itself looks satisfactory, as it should be, and the aesthetics are very pleasing to the eye. Maybe this is one that needs attention?
If you Yes If you are interested, you will be happy to know that Golf Club Wasteland will be launched on Switch and other platforms in August. It will have a story mode as well as a more difficult challenge and steel mode-the latter leaves “almost zero room for error.”
