Resident Evil 4 VR release date announced

Resident Evil 4 VR will be released exclusively for Oculus Quest 2 on October 21, 2021.

In addition to the new gameplay trailer, Oculus has announced a complete VR remake of Capcom’s beloved survival horror masterpiece in October this year, jumping into virtual reality. IGN has a full hands-on preview of Resident Evil 4 VR that you can read right now.

Without much loss of preview, Resident Evil 4 VR is a refreshing new take of the 2005 Classic that makes horror shooters feel virtually new.

Resident Evil 4 VR supports both full-motion motion and teleport travel. One of the biggest changes in RE4 in VR is how to manage items. Now you can pull weapons and items directly from the virtual body, whether you reach the gun belt or pull a health item from your left shoulder.

The entire puzzle and other objects, such as the typewriter used for storage, have also been recreated in VR to be completely interactive.

When Resident Evil 4 was first released in 2005, it became an instant classic. In addition to modernizing the Resident Evil series, many of the latest franchise games are directly inspired by Resident Evil 4 today.
