If you were one of the many people who enjoyed PC games in 2000 (the same year, we saw Rare’s Perfect darkness On Nintendo 64), one of the games you may have played is Valve’s initial FPS based on online teams, Counter Strike 1.6.
Although this game has never been released on the Nintendo platform, French YouTuber celebrities Nitro Engine is now being used to recreate the original Counter Strike on Nintendo DS. The latest version lasts less than 20 seconds and shows a new touch-controlled aiming system.
It also briefly introduces the iconic map “de_dust”, where you can see the early construction of the weapon and some sound effects obtained from the actual game.
The creator also released some other videos (with an earlier version)-showing an early understanding of robots.Currently, they look more like some kind of my world, But still in progress.
The plan will continue to add more features, and eventually release the game source code (including games and servers) in the future:
What do you think of this project? Have you played in the prime time of CS 1.6? Leave a comment below.
