Random: Fancy Sam “Soper” Mario?Marvel at Game Boy Sewing Machine

We live in an era of quirky Nintendo peripherals. Ring Fit Adventure is an example of Nintendo’s successful adoption of a relatively standard yoga ring. Of course, third parties are also participating, so don’t forget Nintendo’s original Lab Series, which has a cool cardboard box.

But for those with a retro perspective, the NES / Game Boy era is the golden age of quirky accessories, and the video above is Retro future Introducing the version of Game Boy sewing machine. This is a pretty interesting tutorial on how the machine was designed to connect to Game Boy and related software and make sewing easier. If you pass by, it’s part of the “Is this real?” Topic, but it’s actually pretty appealing.

It’s pretty neat and the video also teases the follow-up with a rare accessory that allows for flashy Nintendo embroidery.

If you want to know more about such accessories in the field of sewing / Game Boy, check out the 2018 video below. Kelsey Lewin (Current co-director Video Game History Foundation) Is also worth a look.
