Skybound Games and Manavoid Entertainment Rainbow Billy: Leviathan’s CurseA family-friendly RPG, will be released “soon” on Switch.
The game will be released on other platforms next month, and Switch owners need to be a little more patient, but it seems well worth the wait. Rainbow Billy is described as a “healthy” and “accessible” 2.5D adventure platformer. Judging from the new trailer above, it has a colorful and cozy atmosphere.
In fact, it combines its adventure platform with a range of gameplay styles. When Billy makes friends and explores the imaginary world to bring color back to the world, RPGs, puzzles, and creature-gathering elements are all in-game. If you’re looking for a game on the more peaceful edge of the scale, you may find this a perfect option:
Rainbow Billy is a universal coming-of-age ceremony about coping with changes in the world and embracing yourself and those around you. It’s up to Billy to get things right after the evil Leviathan expels color and joy from the imaginary world, leaving behind an uneasy shell of the inhabitants. Armed with empathy, a talking fishing rod named Rodrigo, and their trusted boat friendship, Billy must restore the world of imagination and free its heartfelt creatures.
Encounters at Rainbow Billy are completely non-violent. Instead of fighting, Billy and his companions need to build trust to successfully resolve their engagement! Many creatures have tricks that slow you down, but sometimes it only requires a little empathy and a new perspective to reach understanding.
