Publishing debut with Gerda DONTNOD: Winter Flames

DONTNOD is a well-known developer in the first two. Life is strange Title (although not up to date) and popular game pass titles Please tell me the reason.. In recent years, we have released the first third-party title as a studio that has contributed to the spread of the adventure genre of stories. Gerda: Developed by PortaPlay, A Flame in Winter will be featured in Indie World’s Sizzle Lille this week and will arrive next year.

Set in Denmark during World War II, he explains that it’s an “RPG light narrative” game that is intriguing. Below are some of the official details.

Gerda: A Flame in Winter is an intimate story RPG light experience set up during World War II and the German occupation of Denmark. Inspired by real-life events, in this inspiring story-driven game, players walk the path of Gerda, a nurse whose life is upside down overnight. Armed solely with her wisdom and knowledge of her community, Gerda must try to save her loved one while remaining loyal to herself. The story was not told at the forefront, but in the intimate environment of the small Danish village where she grew up.

Selection is a combination of exploration, dialogue, and resource and relationship management. Gerda’s personality trait is her skill, and her connection with others also determines how the story unfolds. All dilemmas are challenging, all decisions are important in times of turmoil and war, and this game raises the question: how far do you go to protect your loved ones?

It looks interesting, and it’s worth noting that it’s currently set to be an exclusive console on Switch with the PC release.

Details will be announced next year, so let us know. Is it on your wish list?
