Point-and-click adventure Cathy Rain heads to switch this month

Publisher Raw Fury and developer Clifftop Games announce that Kathy Rain, an adventure point-and-click for a woman (Kathy) who studied journalism in the 90s and is investigating the strange and sudden death of her grandfather, will appear on the Nintendo Switch. Did. Later this month.

In addition, the first game released in 2016 will feature “Director’s Cut,” which adds a ton of new content, including extended stories, additional puzzles, and new areas. The complete list is:

  • An extended storyline with long endings, hundreds of lines of additional dialogue, and multiple new areas to explore.
  • Several new major puzzle chains and many small additions and tweaks to existing puzzles.
  • The game environment has been expanded so that it does not have a black bar on the side and is displayed on the entire screen.
  • We’ve made countless visual improvements, including more character animations, better lighting / shadows, and additional weather effects.
  • Streamlined mouse control with an intuitive single-click interface.
  • Controller support was done correctly. Leaning on a chair, you can control Cathy smoothly and directly without the hassle of a cursor getting in the way.
  • An extended and remixed soundtrack by the original composer Daniel Kobulalz.
  • Five new motorcycle designs for unlocking and customizing Katmobile.

Kathy Rain: Director’s Cut will be available on Switch, PC and Mobile on October 26th.
