PlayStation sued by a former IT analyst claiming sexism

Former IT security analyst on Sony PlayStation Proceedings After telling the company on Monday “about discrimination against women,” he insisted on sexism and illegal retirement.

Bloomberg Former IT security analyst Emma Majo reports that she is trying to extend the proceedings to a class action proceeding on behalf of a woman who recently worked for Sony PlayStation.

In the proceedings, Sony has accused it of “accepting and fostering a work environment that discriminates against female employees and female employees, including those who are certified as female.”

Majo also states that Sony discriminates against women and employees who identify them in terms of compensation and promotion, and “submits them to a male-dominated work culture.” Majo also claims that she was handed over for multiple promotions, ignored by her manager, and her employment ended after she filed a sexist complaint with Sony.

In addition to the mystery, the proceedings allege that Majo received a letter stating that certain Sony divisions would be abolished and Majo’s employment would end, but Majo was not a member of that division.

The proceeding was filed with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) and a similar proceeding was filed. Proceedings against Activision Blizzard earlier this year..

PlayStation representatives did not immediately respond to IGN’s request for comments on the proceedings.
