As part of the launch of the new Nintendo Switch Online “Expansion Pack” service today, Nintendo has released several new (but older) controllers. The Nintendo 64 game library has relaunched the classic three-pillar pad as a wireless controller.
I’ve looked at some promotional shots and found some additional buttons on top of it, but one question that many still wonder is what the controller looks like below. Also, the new wireless controller contains vibrations and does not require a rumble pak.
Vooks.net Actually took some shots of the controller and confirmed that the new controller slot was filled. Probably a space for battery and rumble feedback. It’s also been confirmed how firmware updates are needed before the controller works, and the small little holes at the top of the analog stick are no longer an issue.
So you have it-you can’t even plug in a rumble pack, controller pack, or even a transfer pack, even for laughter. Did you order one of these controllers to improve the Nintendo Switch Online experience? Please leave a comment below.
