Nintendo resumes distribution of Switch system update 12.0.3


Update #3: Nintendo has now resumed distributing Switch System Update 12.0.3.

According to Twitter’s translation service, the statement is as follows:

Update #2 [Wed 9th Jun, 2021 05:05 BST]: Nintendo’s Japanese customer support shared a message on Twitter about the suspension of the latest Switch system update.

Users who update to the latest firmware may experience network connection problems, and the microSDXC card may experience problems during the first use.

It is working on a solution and will share updates after the problem is resolved.

“As of June 8, we have temporarily stopped distributing system update version 12.0.3 (released at 5:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time, June 7, 2021). This news will be updated when distribution resumes.”



Update #1: It seems that for the first time, Nintendo stopped distributing the 12.0.3 version of the Switch system update a few hours after it was first available.

Nintendo has not announced the reason for the sudden stop at this stage, although some fans Speculation The update may cause unexpected errors for the person downloading it.
