Nintendo has no other plans for Zelda for the 35th time.

There have been rumors since earlier this year that Nintendo will release some older Zelda games sometime this year to celebrate Link’s 35th anniversary.

Although 2021 is not over yet, The Legend of Zelda Series producer Eiji Aonuma seems to have denied the hope that the classic Zelda game will return this year The end of Nintendo E3 Direct.

This is exactly what he had to say in the clip showing the new Zelda game and watch:

“This year’s “Legend of Zelda” game ushered in its 35th anniversary. Although we do not have any events or plans for other Nintendo Switch games, we have been committed to using this Game & Watch system as a special project to help commemorate this moment. And fondly look back at the early days of The Legend of Zelda.”

As you may remember, Andy Robinson of VGC said before The Legend of Zelda: Twilight with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker This year it will return “100%”. He has now shared an update:

Back in February, industry insiders and GamesBeat reporter Jeff Grubb explained what Nintendo wanted The Legend of Zelda: Sky Sword HD Be the “only” focus at least until July to ensure that it gets the sales and attention it deserves and is not overshadowed by more popular items.

“This is still marketing. And Nintendo will want to put the Legend of Zelda: Sky Sword HD in front. This is one of the biggest reasons why Nintendo did not talk about Zelda other than Sky Sword HD. [February] Direct video events. The company does not want other Zelda games to distract it from trying to bring Skyward Sword back. “

Grubb now also shared his own latest thoughts-explaining how Nintendo might postpone The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild The sequel did not set its release target as 2022.

So here you go-these rumored games are obviously still thing, But Nintendo may have delayed the release date.If Zelda’s 35th anniversary is like Mario, it should Technically Run for a whole year-this will last until February next year, that is.
