“Monster Hunter World” sales exceed 17 million

“Monster Hunter World” continues to maintain Capcom’s largest ever game dominance, with sales of more than 17 million copies worldwide. Highlights of the most recent fiscal yearAccording to Capcom, Monster Hunter has sold more than 17 million in all formats, and the sequel Monster Hunter Rise itself has sold close to 5 million on Nintendo Switch alone.

Since its launch in January 2018, Monster Hunter World has been a success for Capcom, undoubtedly partly because of regular sales in digital and physical stores and the massively expanded release of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Iceborne brings a new area for players to explore, as well as a larger number of monsters for them to hunt. And the strategy seems to have worked. By the end of the most recent fiscal year, the game had sold 17.1 million units.

Monster Hunter World (Monster Hunter World) brings fresh air to this team. This is the first game to bring “Monster Hunter” into the mainstream of the West. It can be used on multiple consoles and rejuvenates the team through a (slightly) easier-to-use novice control scheme. At the same time, the quality of life is improved. Make it more attractive to those who are not familiar with franchise.

The report also pointed out that since its launch in March, “Monster Hunter Rise” has sold 4.8 million units, which shows that the sales of the series of games are still good, even if only released on platforms such as Nintendo Switch. It is incredible to see the franchise of “Monster Hunter” flourish, especially considering that before the release of “World”, it was a relatively niche franchise in the West. However, the Monster Hunter movie is unlikely to be related to these sales successes because it was criticized and criticized-IGN rated it 3/10 in our review.

Capcom seems to be progressing well. For the company’s fourth record-breaking year, “Resident Evil Village” shipped more than 3 million units worldwide. “Monster Hunter Story 2: Wings of Destruction” will be released in July, when there will be more monster hunter special effects.
