Microsoft is handing out oil paintings revealed by Rock’s original Xbox

If you’ve been an Xbox fan long enough, you might remember Symbolic moment From CES 2001, when the original Xbox was released … Dwayne’The Rock’ Johnson. Why don’t you hang the beautiful oil painting of that moment on the wall of your house?

It’s a strange question, but Xbox and The Rock seem to think that some people may be interested. They made it the centerpiece of the giveaway associated with today’s Xbox 20th Anniversary celebration (certainly along with Rock’s latest movie, Red Notice’s glorious ad).

In an anniversary stream appearance, Rock visits fans to xboxvault.com to enter “hundreds” of prize gifts, including the oil paintings mentioned above, custom Xbox hardware with Red Notice themes, and game pass cards. I urged you. At the time of this writing, the Xbox Vault website isn’t up and running, so the prize criteria are unknown, but we’ll update it as it becomes available.

Xbox 20th Anniversary New Backward Compatible Game

This isn’t the first time The Rock has made a free gift or other promotion on Xbox. This includes what we did last year to give the Xbox Series X console to a children’s hospital.

Today, we’ve made several announcements related to the Xbox Anniversary celebration, including the addition of over 70 new games to Xbox backward compatibility and the surprising early release of Halo Infinite multiplayer.
