Microsoft Flight Simulator releases the first aircraft in the “Local Legend” series with the Junkers JU-52 today

The team has worked extensively to reproduce the plane in the most authentic and accurate way possible. We scanned the entire airplane with a high resolution digital scanner to achieve a very high level of detail and accuracy.

Also with Germany-Lufthansa-Berlin Stiftung, an organization that works with Bernd Junkers, the grandson of former designer Hugo Junkers, to preserve one of the last surviving examples of this famous plane. I cooperated.

To ensure full accuracy, we actually consulted with the Lufthansa pilot, one of the last surviving Junkers JU-52s. The famous D-AQUI and Oliver Moser, the best creator of this plane in digital space.
