Microsoft announces original Xbox-themed adidas sneakers

Microsoft has partnered with Adidas to offer the world’s first console-inspired set of sneakers.

Adidas sneakers are inspired by the 2001 Halo-themed special edition of the original Xbox console, with a green and black color scheme with translucent details added to the finish.

The Xbox 20th Forum Tech sneaker may have been first announced in a partnership between Microsoft and Adidas, but it’s certainly not the last. Microsoft isn’t the first to partner with a non-tech company in the last few months. In July, the brand partnered with Krispy Kreme to offer UK fans an Xbox-themed Nexus Level Donut. Meanwhile, in sneaker news, Nintendo unveiled its own limited edition-themed shoes earlier this year. In partnership with PUMA, the company has unveiled shoes inspired by its own Animal Crossing New Horizons.
