Marvel Avengers on Xbox Game Pass

Square Enix has announced that Marvel’s Avengers will be featured on the Xbox Game Pass this week.

Obviously Xbox wire post, Marvel’s Avengers will be added to the Xbox Game Pass on September 30th. It will be available on PC, console, and cloud.

The Xbox Game Pass version is a complete package of all previous Marvel’s Avengers content, including Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, and the new Black Panther: War for Wakanda extension.

The arrival of the game on the Game Pass will be in time for the Quad XP event, which will be held from September 30th to October 4th to celebrate the first anniversary of the game.

Earlier this year, Square Enix launched the predatory shooter Outriders on the Game Pass, surpassing 3.5 million unique players in the first month. The number of players using Xbox and Game Pass in particular is unknown, but Square may have added the Avengers to the roster, recognizing the value that subscription services can offer for this type of game.

Marvel’s Avengers has launched various reviews and I had a hard time maintaining a healthy player base, At least on a PC. The sharp decline in Square’s operating profit before and after launch also suggests that when it arrived in September 2020, there was less interest in Avengers.
