Koei Tecmo’s ogre joined the hamster’s arcade archive today

The release of the Arcade Archives eShop this week is the action game Guzzler originally released by Koei Tecmo.

Of course, it was first introduced when Tecmo was called Tehkan and appeared in arcade games in 1983. In the game, players control Guzzler’s “Happy Fireman”, trying to put out the raging fire.

We have provided you with some screenshots of the game below. Fires continue to spawn enemies, so you need to make quick decisions and act quickly to succeed.

As always, this version of Arcade Archives is priced at $7.99; you can buy it immediately from the Switch eShop, or play it alone, or with friends in a multiplayer game.

Have you heard of it before? Want to try it? Tell us in the usual place.
