Japanese Charts: Mario Party Superstars Top in Busy Weeks for New Releases

Famitsu’s Japanese chart numbers show that it appeared in the week leading up to October 31st, with Mario Party Superstars at number one.

The game sold an estimated 163,256 physical copies in its first week in Japan and managed to manage a few new entrants released this week. Among the other new titles were Super Robot Wars 30, which sold more on Switch than PS4, and vice versa, the deadly frame: Blackwater Maiden.

Nintendo’s regular fan favorites end the top ten, with Switch occupying the top seven.

On the hardware chart, Switch OLED fell below the original model in pecking orders after a strong week last week, with the Switch family generating a total of about 75,000 sales. Here are the numbers for this week and lifetime sales in parentheses:
