Japan Charts: FIFA 22 Legacy Edition is Switch’s Bestseller of the Week

Famitsu’s Japanese chart numbers are currently in the week ending October 3, revealing that FIFA 22 is Switch’s best-selling game of the week.

Despite strong sales on the PS4, Switch’s Legacy edition game shifted 13,385 physical units nationwide in the first week. It surpassed other rookie Melty Blood: Type Lumina, as well as Switch’s evergreen hits like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which remained in eighth place this week.

Many new PS4 games dominate the progression, with Sony consoles in the top four.Falcom The Legend of Heroes: The Trail of the Sky It won the top spot with sales of just over 50,000.

In terms of hardware, the Switch continues to stand out, but the original model’s total weekly sales remain a bit lower than we’re used to. Here are the numbers for this week and lifetime sales in parentheses:
