Japan Chart: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remake stays at the top, Soft Atama Academy ranks in the top 3

Famitsu’s Japanese charts will appear in the week leading up to December 5, showing that Pokemon Brilliant Diamonds and Shining Pearls have been at the top for three consecutive weeks.

The two games sold a total of 164,580 physical copies in Japan last week, with their total physical sales slightly over 1.9 million. Two weeks after it hit the market, the title actually exceeded the sales set by Sword and Shield in 2019, but by the end of the third week, Sword and Shield’s total three-week sales totaled 2,023,043. The remake of diamonds and pearls will be played and catch up.

Elsewhere, Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is the most fascinating new work of the week, ranking third. It’s in the top 10 made entirely of switch games. Then it’s not a bad week for Nintendo.
