Japan Chart: Ni no Kuni II is in the Top 10, but Switch Hardware Sales Are Declining

Famitsu’s Japanese chart numbers will appear in the week leading up to September 19th, and will be shared by WarioWare: Get It Together! Still the most attractive title of Switch.

The game sold an additional 32,131 physical copies in the second week. This was almost enough to net that I was anxious for the number one spot. PS4 version Tales of Arise There were 1,000 sales this week.

Elsewhere, both BanG Dream! Girls band party! Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom-Prince Edition debuted in the Top 10 and added to the healthy list of popular Switch titles.

The hardware chart shows that Switch is actually one of the biggest weekly sales declines we’ve seen in the past. The original model has shifted 31,290 units this week from a total of 56,177 last week. Here are the numbers for this week and lifetime sales in parentheses:
