Impressions of the WizKids Gargantuan Tiamat review

I Take a look at WizKids’ latest premium figures first, Five Evil Dragon Queen Tiamat, I couldn’t help laughing at what looked like a ridiculously big person – early 3D rendering showed that Actively dwarf 12 ounce soda cans.. What I didn’t expect was that (a) the dwarf actually said a can of cola, and (b) it would be one of the most striking miniatures I’ve seen for a long time. bottom.

WizKids recently saidWe push things forward by calling this a mini,“It wasn’t a joke. The “Mini” really responds to its Gargantuan size rating. If it weighs more than 5 pounds, the base that stands on its own is 8 inches in diameter (40 feet according to desktop D & D rules), which is twice the recommended size for “huge” creatures. The tallest of its five heads is about 8 inches high, and its wingspan, at its farthest point, pushes it up to an impressive 28 inches, just over 14 inches high.If I was a player in the Tyranny of Dragons campaign, the latest official D & D adventure module featuring Tiamat prominently, the Dungeon Master could have a mild heart attack. thwonkI put this huge thing on the table.

The work on the details of each head is gorgeous in both molding and manual painting. The demonic orange glow around the eyes of the red and blue dragon’s head is a particularly fine detail, but the fine work around each head and the bones of each limb and claws is itself. It looks great.

WizKids’ Gargantuan Tiamat is the largest mini in D & D history
