“Henchman Story” brings a selection-based supervillain adventure to today’s switch

Today, Henchman Story is released on Nintendo Switch. This is a selection-driven adventure game by developer Silken Sail and publisher Top Hat Studios.

This game is the story of Stan, the average man who got a job as a sneaky Henchman of the eccentric Lord Bethlem. A comic-style story takes you on a journey through Stan’s eyes. There, Anailis Kinones (Attack on Titan/ RE: Life in a Different World from Zero), Anthony Sardinia (Hat in Time), Elissa Park (Marvel Avengers Academy).

Creator and writer Marc Soskin, formerly a member of The Outer Worlds’ narrative team, explains what to expect:

“The Henchman story is like an office space meeting the world of Marvel Comics and the superheroes of my hero academia. I can’t help myself, so it’s studded with the influence of Melbrooks.

When it comes to gameplay, I like to think of sitting in the space between classic telltale games and text adventures. Despite the visuals of these bright comic books, we have plenty of room to create truly divergent and responsive stories as we are slimmer pieces. “

As mentioned above, the Henchman Story is available today on Nintendo Switch and can be found in the e-shop for £ 13.49 / $ 14.99. I’ll leave this feature list for a little more detail.
