Here is the complete PR to announce this news:

Grasshopper Manufacture celebrated its 23rd anniversary in March this year. Over the last 23 years, a team of creators with different backgrounds and personalities has provided gamers with different games. We were given the unique opportunity to rethink the game development and organizational structure of Grasshopper Manufacture. We were presented with new possibilities for game creation, understanding our own advantages and unique position.

As you know, NetEase Games has developed many great games in the past, but I have known the creativity of NetEase for a long time. We sympathized when we talked with NetEase about “developing a more unique console game together.” After much thought, we unanimously decided to “gather” in the long run through deeper cooperation to create better content for gamers.

NetEase Games understands the strengths of Grasshopper Manufacturing Inc. and is happy to support you. It is also a very reliable partner. NetEase Games is primarily responsible for advice on business planning activities and adequate funding for game development. We are responsible for the creativity and production of the game, allowing us to maintain the consistent “Glass Hopper Manufacture Flavor” and game quality we know. In addition, we receive strong support from the NetEase team of thousands of artists and technical experts in terms of game art and quality assurance. Over the next decade, we will take full advantage of this support and strive to provide all gamers with three higher quality “Glass Hopper Manufacture Games”.

Grasshopper Manufacture is heading towards a whole new future of game development, but now it’s reborn and continues to make history. stay tuned.

Following the news that Sega’s Monkey Ball and Yakuza creator Toshihiro Nagoshi have also left for NetEase.
