Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 8, led an assortment of new weapons and items. Currently, Fortnite’s 18.30 patch offers the same in the form of Grapplers, sucker-fired guns that throw players across the map.
Fortnite Update-November 2 Hotfix: Icy Grappler
As of today, Grappler is back in Fortnite. Fans of this classic item can find them in various chests and more throughout the island. Once obtained, it will be able to fire forward through the suction cup projectile. Need to escape the losing battle? Simply fire a grappler at a distant structure and the rope will pull you towards the location / location where the suction cups are attached.
Fortnite’s 3.37 update on November 2nd introduces a new exotic weapon called IcyGrappler.
Have you played Fortnite?
Grappler is always fun to use at Fortnite. This was true regardless of whether they were used as a quick escape tool or as a means of bridging the gap between you and the fleeing enemy. This latest patch is a new variant, Icy Grappler, It may turn out to be even more interesting thanks to its ability to cover the player’s feet in the ice.
This new exotic weapon acts like a regular grappler in that it flies around when fired on a particular surface. The difference is that when you land, your feet turn into lumps of ice and you can skate / slide quickly for a few seconds. This added effect can make it difficult to stop on a dime (if you’re trying to land on the platform), but it’s beneficial when it comes to escaping from enemies and closing rings.
Due to the extra usability, IcyGrappler can be difficult to find. Thankfully, you can buy it from Fabio Sparklemane at Apres Ski Resort, just southwest of Misty Meadows. This is the place where the disco dance floor is located. Just hand over 400 gold bars and IcyGrappler will be yours.
Grappler weapons can only be used in standard playlists, as competitive play is prohibited for obvious reasons.
That’s it for the latest Fortnite update. Check back here for Fortnite’s Chapter 2, Season 8 patch notes.
