Animal Crossing Happy Home Paradise DLC player warns of mod bugs

“Don’t remodel your neighborhood home when the airport is open” sounds like one of the weird and outdated laws that was published in a book 100 years ago for a very special reason and then forgotten. But now Animal Crossing: A very realistic rule to follow in New Horizons.

In a tweet from Nintendo UK’s official account, while the airport gate is open, don’t access resident services and model your neighbor’s house to avoid unintended “gameplay bugs”. Warn the player. The same tweet was made by the official accounts of Nintendo in Australia and New Zealand, but Nintendo’s America in particular hasn’t said anything about it yet.

You are still good at remodeling your neighbor’s house, just close those airport gates first. Nintendo says If you get this error and get a bug, just end the play session and restart the game without any data loss or other problems. A patch is underway later this month to prevent this from happening altogether.

It’s not clear which gameplay bugs are referenced here, but it’s probably best to stay safe and avoid the airport unless the island is what you want. In general, Animal Crossing: When you have an airport open in New Horizons, you can use Island Designer to change terrain, send emails, buy merchandise at Nook Shopping, and other specific activities. You will not be able to do. Also, if the visitors are actually on your island, you cannot change the decoration of the area they are in. So it makes sense that there could be a problem with completely changing a neighbor’s home when the game is online.
