Yes, yes, we know. The title is incredibly confusing. There is nothing we can do! The name of this wonderful little puzzle game-“A good snowman is hard to build”-is really hard to appear in news headlines. But it does land on Switch later this year, which is why you should be very excited.
A Good Snowman Is Hard To Build (hereinafter referred to as AGSIHTB, because typing is difficult) is a charming Sokoban-style puzzle game with a puzzle design from Alan Hazelden (AKA Drakneck), the art of Benjamin Davis (he also worked as a programmer at Cosmic Express), and Priscilla Snow (Very appropriate).
You are a little bastard who wants to make a snowman, but—spoiler—they are a bit difficult to build. You see, the snowballs must be stacked in order of size-anyone who has done something similar in “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” will understand-you have to combine the mystery of the Tower of Hanoi with the mystery of Sokoban to get a solution .
However, it is totally worth it, because when the snowmen are finished, you can hug them. 10/10, GOTY.
AGSIHTB will land on Switch on September 2.
